Low Voltage Single Crystal Transistors of Individual Sub-micro Ribbons of Copper Phthalocyanine

Single crystal ribbons of copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) at sub-micro scale were synthesized. Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) based on an individual ribbon were fabricated, which exhibited high mobility and low threshold voltage. These characteristics were highly reproducible and stable, demonstrating the high quality of the transistors. Moreover, CuPc sub-micro ribbons exhibited excellent flexibility, which indicated potential applications of this kind of OFETs in future.
