Prof. JERALD L. SCHNOOR is Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Science and Technology since 2002, member of the EPA Science Advisory Board, and member of the National Advisory Environmental Health Sciences Council (NIEHS). In 1999, he was elected to the National Academy of Engineering.

　　On August 27, 2009, he was invited to deliver a Molecular Science Forum Lecture at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS). On behalf of the ICCAS, Prof. Zhenzhong Yang awarded the certificate and medal of Molecular Science Forum Lecture Professorship to Prof. SCHNOOR.
