Over the years, ICCAS has put great effort on the international cooperation and exchange.  ICCAS also takes an active part in international exchange as a representative Chinese research institute. It continues to recruit and train internationalized young talents. Also, different international and regional collaborative programs have been implemented. These programs will become excellent platforms to show true essence of ICCAS as an eminent research institute to the world.

    In the past five years, ICCAS has been in a close relationship with different world-famous societies such as American Chemical Society and Royal Society of Chemistry, and academic organizations such as German Max-Planck institutes, Riken, Institute for Molecular Sciences, University of Tokyo and Australian CSIRO.

    From January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2012, ICCAS sent ca. 1200 personals to go abroad for scientific exchanges and collaborations, and also it hosted more than 1700 foreign visitors. One scientist recommended by ICCAS has succeeded in winning the prestigious International Scientific Cooperation Award of CAS. ICCAS managed to obtain 5 funding project under the Einstein Chair Professorship programs. ICCAS also obtained 17 CAS visiting professorships and 6 CAS Young Scientist fellowships from CAS. 37 distinguished professors were invited to give lectures in molecular science forum and awarded with molecular science forum professorship. ICCAS organized 27 international conferences during this period. In addition, ICCAS signed 31 cooperative agreements with internationally famous enterprises.
