May 21st, Dr. Phil Szuromi, Senior Editor of Science visited Institute of Chemistry, CAS (ICCAS), and delivered a lecture named Progress and Process in Scientific Publishing.

In Dr. Phil Szuromi’s report, he reviewed how faster access to information has changed the process of writing, reviewing, and critiquing papers. And he also focused on the details of the process at Science and tried to give some insights into what can make a paper more suitable and successful.

After the report, Dr. Phil Szuromi discussed with the professors and students of ICCAS in order to further understand the chemistry research in CAS.
