Recruitment Announcement for Outstanding Talents at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) in 2025
The Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS), founded in 1956, is a multidisciplinary and comprehensive research institution focused on fundamental research while actively addressing national strategic needs in high-tech innovation. It is a world-class chemical research center with significant international influence.
ICCAS's key research areas include polymer science, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and interdisciplinary fields such as chemistry-life sciences, chemistry-materials, chemistry-environment, and chemistry-energy. In recent years, ICCAS has achieved a series of groundbreaking results in molecular and nanoscience, organic/polymer materials, chemical biology, energy and green chemistry, continuously enhancing its original innovation capabilities. Meanwhile, ICCAS tackles critical scientific challenges aligned with national priorities, establishing an advanced polymer materials base and achieving breakthroughs in multiple core technologies, thereby strengthening high-tech innovation and industrialization.
ICCAS operates the Beijing National Laboratory for Molecular Sciences (BNLMS), 12 research laboratories, a Huairou Research Center, and an Analytical Testing Center. It has four campuses: Zhongguancun (main campus), Changping, Tianjin Wuqing, and Huairou. The main campus is located in the heart of Beijing’s Zhongguancun education and research hub, where the Chinese Chemical Society is also based. The Huairou campus focuses on cutting-edge molecular science research leveraging major scientific facilities. The Changping campus conducts interdisciplinary research in chemical biology and biomedical materials for human health. The Wuqing campus is dedicated to breakthrough research in polymer materials for national strategic needs.
Committed to becoming a world-leading chemical research institution, ICCAS warmly welcomes outstanding talents from home and abroad to join and grow together.
